Pre-School transition visit to Westfield Infants

19th June 2014

The pre-school leavers, moving on to Westfield Infants in September, went on a transition visit, experiencing a ‘Bear Hunt’ round the sensory garden with Mrs Ratcliffe and Miss Bamber, accompanied by Louise and Alison.

First of all, we had to put blue outdoor t-shirts on.

Then we went inside the tent to listen to the ‘Bear Hunt’ story.

Off we go! Are we scared? No!

Through the ‘swishy swashy grass’…

Through the forest, stumble trip, stumble, trip…

Through the swirling, whirling, snowstorm… and into the cave, tiptoe, tiptoe, tiptoe

It’s a bear! Quickly, back into the house and under the covers!

We are not going on a bear hunt again!
